Actually since pog has had the Rona pre race I suspect he is safe as any rider can be in this tour

I thought he’d had it just before the Tour?

Hypothetical question but would Covid be a bigger risk for Jonas considering the damage he suffered (including damage to his lungs)?

Who knows ... They should all be pretty immune compared to most the population but asking someone with COVID to ride the tourmalet seems a tad harsh

Is the difficulty in breaks going down to the yellow jersey team not controlling ?

The sight of two Arkea riders in the now increased break will spread fear among anyone thinking of going for the bonus sprint!

Not sure why UAE are wasting so much energy closing down riders who are no threat at all.

UAE don't want to let anything too big go, but I think the sprint teams are trying to keep it together a bit so they don't have a break getting 15 minutes and making the time cut difficult.

We have two breaks of the day.

It took 62kms not 70 as I guessed.

Three groups now off the front and peloton seem happy. Mix of sprinters going for the intermediate and genuine stage options.

Doesn’t look like group 3 are going to make it.

Well UAE decided to let the break(s) go as Pog needed a piss.

It's about half and half actual mountain break riders and sprinters trying for the intermediate/ a headstart on the timecut

Group 2 not making any headway for now which is surprising but they’re in a better position once the proper climbing starts.

Abrahamsen bullied out of attacking while Pog was pissing. That's rough. His whole race today was about trying to get in the break, shouldn't be prevented just cos POg couldn't hold his bladder

Dodgy gaps again, group 2 has now merged with the 8 at the front.

Evenepoel and half of Visma had stopped as well.

It didn’t go down well in the peloton or with the studio pros.

I’m confused now, I’m sure it showed the green jersey group making contact with the front 8 but they are still 10” behind.

Philipsen nearly bluffs Girmay out of a point in what looked like a couple of amateurs sprinting for the cage stop.

The question is: did the peloton/Pog stop for a piss because the race stopped, or did the race stop because the peloton/Pog stopped for a piss?

If it's the latter then it's rough on Abrahamsen - though yes, he probably had missed his chance as Pross says
