*Forum maintenance*
The BikeRadar forum is due to be undergoing maintenance this week, which will result in it being placed into read-only for between 3-5 days. When we know more about the start date/time of this maintenance period, I will update this thread.
Thanks,
George

Hi everyone,
We have now completed our period of maintenance and the forum is back open for business. Apologies this took a little longer than expected – as is always the way with tech, there were a few bumps in the road!
We have migrated to a new forum and you will be prompted to reset your password the first time you log in. If you have any issues with this, please email news@bikeradar.com and we'll do our best to assist you.
Unfortunately, we were not able to retain avatars/profile pictures as part of the migration. Perhaps you can consider this an opportunity to refresh your online persona for 2024!
Again, thank you for your patience and please get in touch if you have any issues. And happy holidays from all at BikeRadar!
Thanks,
Jack

Quite a lot of tweaking to do I think.
e.g. the numbering on pages
I'd upload a screenshot but that's broken 😁

Are you going to create a thread for bugs? I can't log in on Firefox (both mobile and desktop) and the log in button is a dead link

I was going to quote Pangolin and post an image, but I failed to quote and failed to post an image,

Can confirm - quoting not working, nor uploading/linking photos.
But thanks for continuing to host the forums - much appreciated.

Well this is even better than Yahoo messenger now.

In Chrome, mouseover of a post causes the icons and links for Flag, Quote and Like to stack vertically. This makes the page jump all over the place, really irritating

From @rick_chasey : fyi I can’t log into the forum still. Some bug that just constantly reloads the “already logging in” page but doesn’t let me log in

Mr Chasey needs a new browser. That's what happened to me in Firefox.

Does Firefox still exist? I'm still using Netscape, if that's a consolation.

Hey, @No_Ta_Doctor - how are you managing to quote posts? Not working for me on Chrome.

"Request failed with status code 403" when trying to quote.

My log-in goes into a constant log-in/already logged in loop when using anything other than Chrome.
Latest update is a downgrade, and pants.

Manual copy paste, highlight, click the paragraph symbol, click the quote symbol

Only by looking on this thread, did I know to use Chrome. Login doesn't work at all on Firefox.

Ironically the only way I could get in was using Chrome.
Now Chrome doesn't let me in but Safari does.
This version is nuts!

PS - As much as I am trashing the new forum, it does still exist which is more than I expected.
Being grateful for small mercies.

Clusterf**k doesn’t begin to describe how badly this has been done.

Slick.
Thanks.

I can log in on Chrome (desktop) but any attempt to do so using Safari (phone and desktop) fails - clicking on 'Sign In' just takes me to a 'Page not found'
EDIT - now it takes me to a 'We have migrated our Forum and you will need to reset your password to login.
Please enter your email and then select forgot password, wait for the code, enter this and then select a new password'
Which I've already done on Chrome.

Having logged back in after the maintenance on pc, so far I've not been able to log in on my mobile (also on Chrome) with my new password.

It’s crazy.
Same as everyone else. Keeps saying that I need to register, yet I can’t log in on PC or phone as keeps repeating already logged in on an endless loop.
Yet despite all this, it appears that I can now post on this thread….

Yup.
Firefox login is now working too.

Managed to finally log in using Firefox on Android. Went into some weird page reload/login spasm so quit out of it and came back later. Seems like I'm logged into something that looks like a .txt doc but far less attractive and with less functionality.
Win 3.0 anyone?
Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.
