    You omit to mention the peloton caught the back of the break with about 350m to go.
    I didn’t watch it, that’s the sort of thing I was expecting to read on here.

    At least one of them is widely regarded as one of the greatest GTs of all time, while a second was only decided by 8" on the last day. I'd say that's a decent return on 6 GT wins.

    I was always a Fignon fan anyway, but those two Tours were pretty special

    The yellow jersey went Lemond -> Fignon -> Lemond -> Fignon -> Lemond. Even with a bit of time and rose tinted glasses, I don't see how that could ever have beed dull.

    The new Zubeldia. He did something similar at the Tour before being knocked off by a spectator and abandoning
