Side effect to this new Dutch Superdrug discovered.
Apparently it causes athletes to fall over in the final 20 metres of a race."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
So the German authorities have found that this was likely medicinal contamination and given him the minimum 4 months.
This was the same drug that Lizzy Banks tested +ve for, where after an immense amount of work, she convinced them it was medicinal contamination (her account is harrowing and well worth reading)
Lizzy's result with UKAD is being challenged by WADA,
which she won't defend as she's already used all her money and time on UKAD and she's now retired.EDIT: I think she's fighting them in CAS, but representing herself due to lack of funds.
Here's her story:

I don't understand how WADA et al can sensibly lower the limits for individuals to below that which is allowed in manufacturing processes. Just because athlete testing is getting ever more sensitive.
So if Jo or Joe Public buys an over the counter item such as ibuprofen which happens to contain a contaminant within the manufacturing limits, it is her or his fault, take the ban, not a fault of the manufacturer. That's not right.
