Shitty day was finished with a trip to the pub with a couple of mates, beer and talking bollox. All's well now.
Need to work on my CV over the weekend.

Can I work remotely, doubt the family would want to move.
Just had enough of battling those at the top. Don't mean to brag, but I'm one of the very few left that know the business. The founder of the company, now elsewhere, has said that without me they'd be lost. I gave up on sales as I'd had enough of battling to do my job. Moved to purchasing in the hope I could put things right in the background. But keep bashing my head against brick walls. We were cattled by Brexit, so instead of trying to deal with it the idiot yanks at the top culled staff numbers so we're doing more work with less staff and a computer system that still doesn't do what it should. Can't call it a new system after over 2.5 years. What a shit show.
    Forgive the rant.

Oh, forgot to say, my hard working and intelligent son has gone camping with his girlfriend and her family in South Wales. Damned fools! We showed them the weather forecast and laughed.

    It's Wales. You don't need a forecast.

Now chilling with some tramp fuel after a decent hilly ride earlier with a mate. Ticked off 2 decent challenges - North face of Toys Hill (long) and Yorks Hill - steep (maxed out at 23%), slippery (lean forward and you lose traction: don't lean forward and you start popping wheelies) and rutted. Made it up in one go so that'll do me.

    Next year; Paris-Roubaix sportive.
