Gatwick flounge. Eggs benedict on its way. Mint tea. I seem to have picked up a cold. Hopefully the sunshine will burn it off.

You have to remember SG, Hoppy is from 'Cov'. He needs your guidance.
Being of less 'pedigree', I personally would not have either at this time of day and especially not together.

What antiquities are in volcano land?
Didn't scalding ash and lava bury or melt any antiquities?

Can renaissance SG sprinkle some lovely bacteria on select Tories?
I have heard that tea is a good medium.

    Morning
Feeling a bit sore this morning. Probably due to binning yesterdays turbo session for a cold and very windy 31 miles. At what point does 30 miles feel like 30 miles rather than 80 miles. A few stretches and walking the dogs might be the limit of todays activities.

Another mankyshitty weather day. Gordon Benito, where is the sun? Does one really have to flee Canaries-style to get a glimpse? So laudanum and sleep off the day vs inside fettling of Stuff and chase up trades people? Trainer sesh might help.

Back home after an 800km jaunt round (half) the state over the last couple of days. Lovely yesterday, but today more cloudy windy and even a brief storm on the way home.

Either are acceptable at any time during the day as long as you are past security.

Dad has been released and sent back home to rest.

I've been to see the doctor man who has reverted back to the Italian diagnosis of MCL damage rather than ACL and suspects a sprain rather than a tear. Two specialists have also dismissed the fragment of bone picked up by the radiologist and expect this to be a 3 month recovery to full(ish) fitness.
Swimming a gentle turbo training are good, running is out for the full three months.

Still awaiting an MRI for full confirmation but judging by the movement and lack of pain I have it's looking promising for a return to activity mid summer. Just in Time for an Italian trip with the bikes!

    Afternoon folks,
Another busy day in the orifice fending off gargantuan amounts of stupid. Half day tomorrow, unfortunately due to the second funeral this week.
If the weather improves I'll pedal into work next week, unfortunately this looks unlikely. i've been that long off the bike I want to enjoy it when I get back on.
Spoke to my cousin again this morning, he's sending me a couple of watches he's selling to forward once sold. An Omega and a Breitling, Shall I send you details Stevo? I haven't seen the Breitling but the Omega is very nice.
Good news HD, hope it does pan out as you say.

Oi! Where were my thanks yesterday? I even refrained from saying she'd done well in spite of her father :p

Go on then V, I'm quite partial to Omegas although I wasn't planning on adding to the stash quite yet (run out of space in my watch boxes...)

You're assuming too much there V - I mean, Pinno lives on the equivalent of Craggy Island and there might be a few 'Pat Mustard' type milkmen around :p

I'll send you more details if you like, if I had the spare cash I'd buy it myself.

Ah, a Speedy. Sure, send the details over - model number and year of manufacture if possible as I don't recognise that particular variant.
