Not sure I have a fully developed plan for the whole country. It's obviously a good idea to cluster around existing transport infrastructure where that's available, and I think naturally that will happen. Local to me, I think there's plenty of scope to work around some of the Surrey towns and the golf club belt.
Further afield I don't have enough local knowledge to say but I know there's a big push around Oxford and Cambridge with a new rail connection between.

That's basically what's happening around Exeter, the only issue being that the land is currently at the edges of the neighbouring LAs, but all the infrastructure pressure is on Exeter.

Yes, this is something that comes up in London quite a bit. Some overarching guidance on how LAs should act together in such situations would be helpful.

From what I've seen new housing developments around golf courses are very much at the premium end of the scale. Won't help with affordable housing in the slightest.
