My mum gave me a box of old photos. Distraught over where my hair went. I had so much of the stuff, and never realised.

Is it just losing the battle against gravity?

    Yup!
Mine has settled further down the body. 🤣

My barber spends more time trimming my ears than he spends on my head :'(

I might start going buzz cut soon - part of my BWD (baldness with dignity) plan. No need to use a hairdresser then.

If you're losing it anyway buzz cut is the only way to go. When mine started coming out by the handful with the chemo I just took the lot off. It's a lot warmer with hair so I'm glad it came back

Mine came back in abundance - in a darker colour!
After 5 years, it started thinning so my then GF got the clippers out and I haven't looked back.

Definitely came back with less grey, I reckon I'm 5 years less grey than i should be. Bit of an extreme way to go about it, still have it all 15+ years down the road.

It's no good hanging on to wispy bits, looks silly.

Wedding day aside I’ve not been for a haircut since 1994.
No “products” either. Must have saved a fortune!

I've got various visions going through my head now of fellow forumites. Not putting names to them just the characters.
Phil Mitchell, me minus the drink problem.
Fire starter aka Keith Flint from the prodigy.
Full on comb over, The badly man Jock Gregory Fisher.
Who loves you baby Kojak, Telly Savalas.
    Bodie off the professionals.
Take your pick or add alternatives.

Think of my avatar, aged slightly and with much shorter hair...

Don't have any of them, keep mine pretty short. Just thinking about the day when I don't have enough top cover and need to go full skinhead/billiard ball.

A good day to waffle hard :p

I'd say a wrinkly version of Ewan McGregor in Trainspotting would be a bit closer to the mark than Bruce Willis.

For some reason I had a mental image closer to 'Lurch' from the Addams family :)

Fair point, although stating that you don't look like Bruce Willis is probably fair comment :)
