There's nothing like being stuck indoors (damn gearbox mount has yet to arrive) and staring out of a grubby window.
So I had a clean of them all.

    Internally.

    Conservatory 7 panes
Utility room single dead light 1 pane
    Cloak room toilet 1
Kitchen door, 10 panel, both sides 20
    Kitchen window deadlights 2
    Kitchen window with sash 2
    French doors (4, 8, 8, and 4 for doors and demi panels x 2) 48
    Living room 2 x sash, 4
Acacia stencilled pane between stairs and utility room 2
Oak book case with 3 sections and 3 sliding glass doors 6
Display cabinet 4 panes (both sides) 8
    Bedroom window plus sash 2
    Bedroom 2, 2
    Bedroom 3, 2
    Landing 1
    Bathroom 2
    Front door 2

Total: 113 panes. Farq me. Wanted: a Ukrainian refugee who is willing to clean and cook Borscht.

i'm sure i recall a 60s-70s tomorrow's world bit about how new coatings meant window washing would soon be a thing of the past

I mentioned it, but she said that going to an impoverished, strife torn country with crap weather didn't really appeal :) That said, judging by the length of some of your emails you've got plenty time to do all of this stuff ;)

Hmm... I ceramic coated my car. And when I mean 'car' I even did the glass...

Manky day continues to mank. Gym sesh gymed followed by pool dip followed by drench on way home. Feeling knacked now. Summon energy and get stuff sorted out for the Vlaanderen weekender coming up.
  • Garage TV sourced from a mate, hopefully for beer tokens only.

Just need a bit of steel, a pulley or two, some threaded bar and a Ukrainian refugee to do the hoisting.
