PSA - ITV on final ad break. 100% to the finish now...

  • They do know that Froome's gonna be out the back as soon as they hit the Alpe, right?

Robbie also spent a lot of time thinking about it and did not sound at all confident.

    I don't like Alpe D'Huez

Me neither, the view is rubbish, just trees, trees and more trees and the graident is just so constant that it offers no variety.

Plus there's always been some stinky dead animals in all the trees every time I've climbed it which means you cannot breathe through your nose and you can even taste the decaying flesh when you breathe through your mouth.

The Galibier is the best of the French alpine climbs as far as I'm concerned.

Not sure how deep the break has had to go, this is probably the main section of the day where there is an advantage to being in the bunch.

Who does everyone want to win today given the current state of play on the road?

I'll laugh like a drain if Froome wins.

Head says Pidcock clearly on a different level to the others, heart says Froome with a crafty move that flummoxes the young pretender proving the adage about youth, age & treachery

Further head says someone from the YJ bunch but I hope not

Imagine how awful American Corner would be

Unlike the French, that corner would be spitting bullets.

I'd be quite happy with that. My money's on WVA. He's just that sort of rider.

Pidcock has done 32% of the time on the front. Hopefully not done too much. I reckon Ciccone is going to mug them.

Fastest ever was 36 mins, so think nearer 40-45....
