Is there a particular time of day when it is better to train or is it just down to personal preference, space in the day. Are there any disadvantages of training first thing as opposed to last thing at night?

personal preferance re time of day and so long as you can eat and drink afterwards it matters not a jot..
The camera down the willy isn't anything like as bad as it sounds.

The best time to train is when you can train.1 -
The word 'training' usually needs to be clarified. On a turbo, I would take it to mean high intensity efforts/intervals. In that sense, training 'last thing at night' will have its disadvantages in that you may struggle to have wound down enough to be able to sleep and it may be some time before you are able to do so.rjyoungcc05 said:Is there a particular time of day when it is better to train or is it just down to personal preference, space in the day. That said, if that's the only time you have available, you will be able to adapt your lifestyle to accommodate.

not necessarily - get on turbo,put on movie, smash out decent base mileage.
all round training tool..The camera down the willy isn't anything like as bad as it sounds.
