G let as 5 second gap extend there at the end so the rankings say. seems a daft error

I’ve dislocated my shoulder twice and I certainly wasn’t in any condition to contend for anything the next day.

I just drunk Redbull on a ride once and just felt all gassy, bloated and flatulent.

The advice from a current World Champion is to mix it with water......
    Hmmmm, cheers.

Did he also happen to mention an insatiable desire to want to fling yourself off stuff?

Oh yeah you need to get to a stage where it pops in and out like its nothing. Two won't do it...

You get used to putting it back in yourself after a while and just crack on. It took a while of going to the hospital before I got to that point though (don't get me wrong I still find it bloody painful).

I lean over and let it hang, it's important to relax the muscles/ligaments (I know it's not easy), massage the muscle around the shoulder with your other arm/hand and it pops back in. Go to a Hospital if you feel numbness in the fingers though, just in case you have a trapped nerve.

I've just watched the last 10km and Hatch said it was "the most sensational stage story in recent years".

What did I miss? Was Elvis in the break? Were there dinosaurs? Did a multiverse race appear were a French rider won?

The yellow jersey attacked. I think that's it.

He used the "It's a long way to Longwy" joke twice.

I think your big problem there is that you watched the wrong end of the stage. I'm not claiming the first 80km were definitely the most fun you can have with your clothes on, but it was pretty full on.

You've got to apply the Hatch Correction Factor (CH) too

Poor Stage = Very Good Stage
    Average Stage = Exceptional Stage
Mildly interesting Stage = History Making Stage
Good Stage = Most Sensational Stage of the decade
Very good Stage = Most phenomenally epic sporting event in the history of sport, Nothing will ever come close
Paris Roubaix 2016 = death by suffocation

The fight for the breakaway went on for ever ..but hatch hyperbole

Great ride by Fuglsang to finish at +5s after abandoning the breakaway.
Put himself in a position to potentially gain time, but bailed out knowing it wasn’t going to happen and lives to fight another day

Yeah, he'd already been told he shouldn't try and lose time to stage hunt layer (I guess Israel probably need the UCI points from a mediocre gc placing) and his DS told him if the gap went under 2 mins he should drop back. Don't think Wout was all that happy about it, but they never got the reinforcements they expected, so a smart move. Bonus of being able to go for a relaxed pee as well

I think it's a bit harsh of PCS to have Simmons dropping a place on the KOM rankings after going from -1 to 1 point.

I missed this - how did he end up on minus points ?

He went off road to move around to get to the front of the peloton on stage 3 - fined plus a 40 point and 1 mountain point deduction.
