Mmmm hobble with hounds as I have really bad plantar fasciitis - can’t quite understand it, as I’ve been doing big mileage for a while not 🤬

Work snizzle and then dropping eldest car of at parents for a service and loading a van and trailer with wood and bringing it back here. Such excitement

    sunny and mild ride

slightly marred by many idiots who shouldn't be allowed out on foot, let alone on wheels

A bit of a meal tonight, weather will dictate if the oven or BBQ will be called to arms.

    Either way, I may have a G&T.

Tbh, i've given up but many thanks to P for trying to make them see sense.

I'm off to pull a massive wheelspin in the Aygo followed by a medium sized but perfectly executed handbrake turn

What is this cd of which you speak? Shurely your cars only have cassette players, or maybe 8 track cartridge capability or dashboard gramophone?

    Yeah - about 180mph different.

Same basic principle though: have as much fun as humanely possible.

I should have corrected Limposter's incorrect use of the comma before 'but' when he wasn't using two independent clauses but thought better of it.
Worse still: he used 4 full stops at the end of his post instead of 3.

If they want to get pedantic, then let's do it properly.

Only for the lolz. I like your cars, and that you restore/maintain them yourself. I've taken nearly 10 years to nearly be able to maintain a bicycle properly.

Evening. Been a busy day of code breaking with year 8 and now just enjoying the sun on the newly constructed patio before nipping to the dead uncle’s gaff to give some more stuff away.

Tomorrow is a day out doing DofE assessments. Might take a bike with me and ride around the closer checkpoints. Nice excuse for getting a few miles in on work time.

I’m off to find the TT thread now. I assume it’s IoM themed

I thought they were modern enough to play a compact cassette. Although the lad's Golf does have a tape player in it, complete with removable face for added security.

Yep. TBH it's getting tedious now especially given I personally know the 8th placed sidecar passenger. I also tried to put his point across but they're arguing about wokism now. Left them to it.

Necessity is the mother of invention. Well, along those lines sort of.
    If I couldn't do what I do then I couldn't have them.
But fettling a bike is quite different and you'll get there.

👍 physio last night recommended a frozen bottle of water too.

Didn’t suggest #wantkitout but as I’ve got a marathon on Saturday I’m going to combine rolling the bottles whilst #wankingitout
