Cracking ride up and along the Ridgeway, lovely conditions, put in more time, effort and distance than originally planned, thoroughly enjoyed.

And back in time to feed back up while watching last 40km or so of P-R Femmes; similar conditions as for me, ok lumpy gravel farm tracks etc here not cobbles, but they do go just a wee bit faster.

Final bits of the painting job done. Will give it all a check over in the morning when the sun hits it to see if I've missed anything, then clean up and get the room back in use.

I also visited my mum this afternoon, but I thought a simple hug and a peck on the cheek was the appropriate level of behaviour.

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Nice one Mr. P, that didn't take long. Hope Tricky and Shorty are happy with the new family member.

Finished assembling composter thing, wifey has now part filled it with her grass cuttings so just in time. Spent rest of time cutting out ancient chicken wire fencing half buried and tangled up in vegetation down the far end of the garden. Hounds enjoyed a day nosing around the garden while we toiled.

Time for dinner and plonk soon.

    Needed a good home.
He was in a tiny flat in a squalid area with no access to the outside world. I didn't know that until I collected him.
Mrs P is interacting with him?!!

He's now asleep on Tricky's bed. He has eaten a shed load of IAMS and explored every nook and cranny.
19 months old. Needs a snip job and feeding up. He's a bit on the thin side but such a gentle moggy. Seems to want to keep the company of the girls. Apparently (we're his 3rd owners - and last), the 2 parents that he was with in the family ignored him and it was only their 2 daughters that paid him any attention.

Beans has the potential to be a star.
    Might call him Benny.

Nice one, sounds like Benny has landed on his feet.

Our hounds clearly need feeding up as they nearly caught a rabbit today in the woods, lucky bunny only just got away. Had to give them a treat or two as a consolation prize.

    a) would they know what to do with it had they caught it and
    b) would you mind the carnage?

I'm a terrible cook, this is my mother's fault. She just constantly churns out great food so I never bothered.

A while ago....but Mrs. 666 is so much better at cooking so I just finance the operation these days.

I can cook, just prefer to leave it to the expert. Mrs. 666 doesn't work for a living so she needs to keep herself occupied somehow :)
