    Go for a medium cage mech. I believe all will work except Potenza, which has it's own spec. 30t will work with your short cage. Some groupsets have a max sprocket size. Whether you have a long or short cage won't change this, but a hanger extender may. The mounting of the current high end campag stuff look like hanger extenders anyway.....
