It's easier to pick up the poo when it's frozen.
you can trebuchet it further as well.
Less good for setting on fire though before trebucheting

    It's the shortest day.
Not a mention from SG. Bit disappointed.
It will get lighter and lighter by approx. 2mins and 7 seconds all the way until June.
Not a lot on the cards today, so will layer up and go pedal in the fog. It's very fine that fog stuff innit. Seeps in and penetrates every layer.

Will Ghislaine go down for a 600 year stretch?
Will I get my wrapping done?
Will container company cough up before Xmas?
Will I get the Xmas quiz finished on time?
Will WS actually make a boudoir out of wood with his wood cutting gadget?
    Will Boris implode?

So many questions, so much time.

Can we have an Xmas quiz that isn't about obscure roadie bollox this year? :)
    A tax quiz?
You know I'd win that one so Pinno would never do it.
Pinno would never do it because it would be the most boringest quiz of all time.
    Thank you kind sir.

You need to ensure it stays lit during "transit" so mix in some engine oil for its adhesive properties.
Thankfully you are using the superior siege engine

No need for a trebuchet. Just leave said dog turd in a paper bag on their doorstep, set the bag alight, ring the doorbell and do a runner. When they answer the door, they'll see a burning paper bag and stamp on it to put the flames out...

Morning. Two.5 days to go before finishing for Christmas and, to be honest, there's not a lot of demand for my time.

Flat is at - let me think - 99% complete now. Need to hang a door, lino a floor and box in a waste pipe. Some other teething problems, but now's the best time to sort those out.

Really happy with the wooden flooring.

    Mince pie recommendation - Waitrose.

Afternoon. Been to the supermarket , had lunch, might have a little doze. Pretty much fully back in the world but didn’t go and see a friend who’s just finished another round of chemo last night just in case…

So, yeah. Possible doze, read a bit more of the expanse books I got for my birthday, probably try to mark a couple of essays.

TDV wants us to move onto a healthier more vegetable based diet because her hippy parents have been staying with us whilst I was away so I'm making steak and chips for lunch for me and the bambini and bangers and mash for dinner.

That's the spirit MF. Chips and mash are a form of vegetable so you're doing exactly what she asked.

  • The supermarket car park was heaving, the aisles weren't much better.
Town centre was surprisingly busy, traffic is chaos.
On the plus side I now have a pick up truck full of sauvignon blanc.

No, protein shake otherwise I would have said something like "smashing one out in the toilet before doing a weights sesh".

Including shoes, I dressed up in £600 worth of cycle clothing.
Despite this, my hands were frozen. The rest if me was fine.

I bought a pair of Lusso winter gloves highly rated by some cycling web site and they're shyte.
I am going back to glove liner + glove.

In other news, Odlo men's active leg tights and Odlo base layer are utterly utterly lush. Probably as lush as the warm embrace of TDV round the back of Edwyn's.

Just back from my BUPA MOT and got a couple of points of attention. At least we know the leg prob now - for MFs benefit as he will know these things, its a tear to the tendon on the Adductor Longus muscle. No big problems but have to be patient. Also got a referral to check out the results of the prostate tests - nothing to worry about apparently as just a precaution so may just have to treat it with alcohol for now until I see a specialist in January.

You're dead right. But but my heating system is a bit dodgy after it was nuked.
They are good until you hit 8 deg c.
Today was waaay out of the Lusso comfort range at 4.5 deg c into an easterly.

Even as a full on socialist, there’s times where I’d appreciate a bit of private health care these days. Alcohol seems like a good plan though Stevo!
