I've been on it forever albeit initially under a different name - I was on the C+ forum and met the first training group I got in with through a forum ride and got into racing through that.

Was Bernie the biker the one who got really upset when someone said the bib shorts he was selling had skidders in them.

That was me making the accusation, but I accidentally accused the wrong person of selling skidded shorts and it didn't go down well.
That wasn't even that long ago was it?

I don't remember finding it very cliquey in here tbh - I just started posting stuff. This was probably a while ago now though, so I don't really remember. I used to be on the MBUK forum back in the day, then the UKMB forum when MBUK closed/got merged into this one or whatever happened, so I think I had a BR membership for ages that I never used (it says I joined in 2005!!). Then I wanted somewhere to talk about bike racing, and I was already a member here. I'd guess that was maybe 2014 or 2015? Seems hard to check.

I find Cake Stop much harder in that regard.

My first post was in the C+ days on PTP, picking Cancellara to win the 2006 Paris-Roubaix. And he did win. The quality of my posting has declined ever since.

I remember when I joined c+ in 2006 there was galloway who got blocked. I think he was BB's first id

Ah, don’t knock yourself, Rich - like Cancellara, you had a few highlights post 2006. And, like even the greats of pro cycling, you’ve got to cling to the triumphs in a sea of disappointment.

I'm a relative noob, think I've been here since 2010. Long enough to remember BB turning every single thread into a doping argument...

TBF up until the middle last decade, performances and doping (or not) were inextricably linked.

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

There was, but I was fifth to flag it and it's gone.
