Costs for concrete are higher than tarmac by a fair whack. Tarmac approx $100 per sq/m, whereas concrete is roughly $130.

Agent Orange might do the trick, although would have to be careful not to affect the trees screening the view from the plebs neighbours. There’s a place along the road which sold late last year, had a nice established garden with plenty of flowering shrubs etc. New owners have removed every last plant, sprayed what was left with weed killer including the entire grassed area and just left it. We assume there’s a plan, just not clear what it is yet.
