No hounds as we stayed at the MILs.

Summer bike ride with an old pal complete with a cafe stop - haven’t done that in years.

Later is undecided but I’m pretty sure it will be the pub

Blue sky here but feel totally robbed because of family commitments (Dad's taxi mainly).

I hope it stays like this so I can defer pedalling till later or I will not be a happy bunny.

    Morning folks,
Slowish start is being enjoyed. Off to see daughter for lunch before heading on for our mini break. Just glad to be getting away for a few days, I'm knackered.

Morning all. Mutley walked, healthy breakfast consumed. Eldest up early for a change. Ready for dads taxi later for young oxos football match. Ride out after tea hopefully it's still nice out. Blue-sky and sun here.
Too many bikes according to Mrs O.

Usual routine here for at least the next few weeks. Lie in, trip to the tip, then more boxing up ready for end of the month. Be glad when we can settle down for a bit.

    Buy some sheep.

Good ride, if a little windy. Plus a short shower and it clouded over but then when I am nearly at the door, the sun pops out.

Any of you lot know what 50:29 gearing equates to in 39:?

Ride rided. Should have checked the forecast not just looked out the window at grey dismal sky. 1/2 hour in, sun is out, blue sky, warming up nicely, there's me layered up, longs and wind/rain jacket. However longs are good when riding a couple km singletrack with nettles.

Returned in time to catch the final 8km of Paris Tours, which is more than sufficient Kirby for one day.

It's been the same here all day so I decided to go up a mountain where it was cold, windy and foggy all day :disappointed:
That search and rescue helicopter flying around on the way down wasn't for me :worried:

Had coffee on the veranda to of the café at Henfold Lakes, then went for a long walk round the Knepp rewilding project. Saw lots of rabbits, long horned cows, a green woodpecker and a bit red deer stag. No storks this time however.

    Baffling science.

Greetings again from darkest Heckshire, it is night time after all. Seem to be having one of those weeks, I swear I must have ran under a ladder or been crossed by a small fleet of black cats.
Someone drove into the back of me reckoned I'd stopped abruptly, the face I'd been stationary 10 seconds in a 30mph zone left me somewhat bemused. Oven exploded on me earlier, as in big flashy of electrical sparkles an a puff of smoke. Broke the bathroom light, pulled the cord, cord came out of said ceiling fitting.

I'd find a priest to exorcise what ever demon but they only have a penchant for choir boys so resorting to cleansing myself of what ever evil with alcohol. Lets hope next week isn't a Penrose staircase of things going wrong or breaking.

Would have to build almost a kilometre of fence first to keep them from disappearing over a cliff.

Napalm tempting, tarmac a little expensive. At current prices even with bulk discount it would be about 4 million bucks to do! (I’ve been looking at re-doing the driveway, but the cost is huge)
