  • Did the Arenberg break things up? When I left this race it was Eekhoff and what's his chops out front with nearly 3 minutes on the MvdP and WvA group. What happened to them?

No, was already in bits after the earlier sectors. The large break went a long way before the first pave. Lots of crashes on the tarmac too.

Yeah I saw all that, but I was wondering what happened to the lead group of 2 that Eekhoff was in and when the MvdP group formed.

If Moscon can continue to plug away at a solid pace then he will get close to the win, gap been stable for quite a while now.
  • OK so Vermeersch is still there in group two, from the original lead gorup. It's impssoible to recognise anyone :D

The amount of mud on Moscon's front compared with MvDP tells you who has spent the most time on the front of their group.

    Dirty faces win races etc.

Gap dropped 30s in not so long.

Maybe I called it a little early

I know he's not popular, and I have rathered one of the other Ineos riders from the initial break win, but this is one hell of a ride.

(Hatch says much the same as I was typing).
  • Once again Sep Vanmarcke is taken out by the curse of a tv camera.

Colbrelli and a couple of others clipped off the front and MVDP sort of just rode off the front to catch them. Initially took Stybar, Haussler and Lampaert with him but Stybar and Haussler soon dropped back then Lampaert just couldn't follow any longer.

MVDP seems to have got his second wind. He's head and shoulders above everyone else over the cobbles.
