Is it awful that I really really really want a Dodge Charger?

It's okay in a straight line.
Although, there's no straight lines in Wales.

We watched the latest grand tour yesterday. Not the best advert for classic American cars. Comfort in a straight line yes. Everything else, no.

It's like a big Ford Escort, everywhere sideways. Trouble is, it's significantly bigger than the roads so won't fit.

Not to mention some very narrow roads and right bends

There's a modern Mustang owner just up the road from me.
I love following him in the Porker. It will accelerate quick, i'll give it that but then I have to back off waaaay before a bend because he has to brake yesterday to go round the bend.
The bend near me I can easily do at 90 (err, 60 ociffer, honest). In the hands of someone who knows what they are doing/has bigger cajones than me, I would think that you could hit a ton easy.
Mustang bloke whilst trying to pull away from me from the town limits, got twitchy round the same bend at... 55.
If I knew the road was clear, I would have gone round him on the outside of the bend. Although the fact that the thing might go sideways at that point would dissuade me.

I thought you didn't speed? Hoppy and Elbow will be round to give you a saintly but disapproving look.

Unlikely. Last seen 21st July, officially AWOL, last post 20th of July, seemingly upset by Stevo.

Locally, I drive like a bit of a square pants now. There's a sort of jurisdiction by proxy amongst the locals (but only when it suits them).
There are some back roads within a reasonable distance from me with miles and miles of empty roads with no residents near (I would hate to run over someone's cat or dog) to have a jolly on.

So have you had a visit from the locals about your driving?

Not yet, though I see an uncanny similarity with the above pic.
