    Which one of you?
Isn't that where they all live?
    WE ARE EVERYWHERE.

    NEVER FORGET THAT.
I was wondering what the smell was in my loft earlier.

    What's under the sheet?

I was hoping it would be a Triumph Stag.

that was probably the big vat of defeat that was handed to you last time you tried to race an Aygo in ypur family saloon car.

Matt, use some glowsticks you know some MF lurking in the loft will snaffle them up an you'll be trapped there forever.
they'd eat themselves if they had the chance.

Evening folks, bimble home completed and notice handed in at work. Left a very upset manager earlier wondering how to replace 3 electricians. Never mind that isn't my problem.

Well done Oxo. What's your notice period?

Nice one Oxo. Frying pan into the...? Time will tell.

Enforced day of total laziness. Need to summon up enough energy soon to pootle 3ml to meet up with some mates in t'pub. Local CAMRA pub of the year, certificate presentation time. How old school. Excellent beers though.

In other news, saw a bit of Hadrian's wall.
Went swimming in the Tyne - it was fantastic. Found a bridge to jump off (pictured). Shorty did it too! and gain and again and again. Say 'well done Shorty'.

    What a beautiful spot.

Promised some locals that I wouldn't let anyone know where it was.

    Evening folks,
Busy day of wfw and fending off stupid. Nice wobble in and slightly extended wobble back which was very sweaty. Took the beautiful assistant out for coffee as it's her birthday tomorrow. Tried to buy her lunch but she wouldn't have it. Not a bad day by any stretch.

I would say well done but can't condone that sort of thing, given that half of Chester was cordoned off this evening while police/fire/SAR were searching the river for someone who had jumped off the bridge with his mates and didn't come back up
Had to walk quite a long way round to get back to the car after work.

It was roughly 12 feet into a deep V in the river and the water was quite pleasant so no shock as you hit it. No fast flowing water, almost still.
Plus I swam near the landing point when Shorty was launching herself.
The water was clear and you could see into it really well. One local (mid 30's looking) and quite large, did it and showed us exactly where to jump. He did hit the bottom (all be it quite gently) every time he jumped but Shorty never got close.
I touched the bottom once when I went in neatly.

Besides, we are cyclists. We take a risk every time we go out on our bikes and we place that risk most of the time in the hands of other people so you can't say that x is wrong when x is done rarely and we do y all the time.

When I initially saw people jumping, I initially told Shorty 'no' until I had a good look. I never once pushed her into it and she is full of confidence. I can't supress that and do not want to but what I can do is give her the common sense to weigh things up.

You cannot avoid risk, if you do, you stop living.

Back from v pleasant evening in, well in actuality out of the pub. Good bantz and chatz. Wot I have learned tonight is a 30somethings couple don't like these modern craft beers like the excellent Siren, prefer the old school bitters. Kidz eh. Us oldies push the taste boundaries as far as we can.

Heading back there tomorrow pm for an evening of live musical treats, sounds of the 80s and an ABBA tribute band. Mosh pit here we come.
