Which muppet decided to break something in the hottest part of the factory bar the kilns. Bloody numpties. Certainly not a cool 30 ish degrees.
if that was bhp it would be 19.5 less than THE MIGHTY AYGO.The camera down the willy isn't anything like as bad as it sounds.

I think my tank has 87 bhp in leccy only mode. That's not a lot of power to move a tank. Enough to get to the shops and back though, seeing as it's all lovely 20 mph limits round here. Which I stick to, because I'm old, and to p1ss off the tw@ts. "Law-abiding motorists", don't make me fcuking laugh.
Got in a race on the way home with a guy obviously fitter and younger than me, though still of the hefty persuasion. No road craft. Eating dust he was.
Oooh, it's raining. Won't have to water the plants.0 -
Seen 2 Tesla's today. Both white. Is it me or do they look sooooo boring?
Bloody commercialisation of the country. Kielder was a bit of damo squib. Can't park anywhere and have a walk - have to oay for it. Can't swim there - water felt warmish and we have wet suits.
Fcuk 'em.
Best bit of it was the drive towards Jedburgh on the A68 - massive climb out of Hexham with big dippers all the way up. Stunning scenery up top.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

Luckily our local council hasn't given in to this 20mph bollox and kept the default limit at 30."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Speed limit doesn't apply to pushbikes innit. Dat the law. Might get done for "furious cycling" Except royal parks, hence the frequent park police speed guns on the downhills in Richmond Park.Stevo_666 said:

Local council tried it here to see if it makes people walk and cycle more, it hasn't.
I think some boffins at Cardiff uni showed 20mph limits cause more accidents, probably people assume it's safe and don't look before crossing the road.0 -
I thought it did but that's maybe because they used to do people in Greenwich Park which is a royal one.hopkinb said:

Round here it makes no difference. You can't really get above 20 in a car because of the congestion.
For London urban minor roads, 20 really is fine. Most fcukers are driving something they could walk, ride, bus or tube anyway.
I'm in favour.0 -
Most people ignore them except if they're going past a speed camera or plod, especially on roads where it's just way too low. Fun starts at council boundaries where one section of a road is 20 and the other is 30 despite being pretty much identical in terms what's a sensible speed.thistle_ said:

Nice day on the Ffestiniog railway in the morning and then Black Rock Sands for some beach time. You actually park on the phucking beach and set up next to your motor just metres from the sea. Lovely place, like a drive in beach, so easy to socially distance.
I honestly never knew that North Wales was so bloody lovely, I don't think I'll ever want to go back to Cornwall tbh0 -
In other news, boffins in Cardiff showed that some people crossing roads are stupid. Who considers the speed limit before crossing a road, rather than looking?thistle_ said:

I've had 4 bad offs on my bike. An icy manhole cover on a corner. Weird oily build up on a cycle lane causing front wheel wash out on braking in wet conditions. Then 2 pedestrians not looking walking out in front of me.0 -
Why is it way too low? What's the hurry? I thought you tories love to obey the law.Stevo_666 said:

I spent my childhood holidays being rained on in the same places you reference. It's lovely, you've had a freak week. It's still lovely in the wet, but it's wet.elbowloh said:Nice day on the Ffestiniog railway in the morning and then Black Rock Sands for some beach time. They dropped the speed limit from 60 to 40 on the two main roads here and now there seem to be serious crashes more often than before.
But...It could be due to increasing stupidity levels due to some other factor.1 -
It's too bloody slow for a lot of roads, dead simple. That's why most people ignore them. Shyte laws etc...hopkinb said:

Also they seem very popular with adjoining Labour councils but not Bromley. I suspect car hating politicians may be to blame, so I laugh at them as I waft past in my 4l V8 biturbo v sign to the do-gooder lefties"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." Why is 20 "too slow" on urban roads? I don't understand. What is it too slow for? You won't make it to Tesco in time? You won't warm up your tyres sufficiently for your "hot lap"?
Join the police, ambulance or fire service, they'll give you blues and twos, because you will actually be in a hurry.
People also ignore 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 speed limits. Are they also shyte laws?
You'd be great served with boiled potatoes and parsley sauce, or egg and chips Stevo.
Have fun chaps. I'm off.0 -
Ah c'mon Panzerwank3rs gonna do what...?0

Though I have to say that driving a beaten up F you L200 pickup truck does mean the Karens and Nigels do realise, OMG 😳, that they can't always drive like non gender specific d1cks 😊. GTF ya waynes,0

They don't just put the 20 limits on urban roads, but if you always obey them, doesn't that make you a natural tory?"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0
