Stumbled into a vintage tractor rally at the skate park.

Excitedly waited weeks for the event and drove to the tractor rally in the middle of nowhere that could not be confused with anything else or stumbled upon in a million years.

That's like having a Ferrari in Scotland. It's even the same colour.
We saw a Lamborghini tractor the other day. I knew they started out making them before they ever made cars, but didn't realise they were still going in that area

...is that the one with a TR3 engine in it?

    No idea.
FWIW: I do like the TR4a but the rest you can crush for all I care.

It was at the skate park. We often go to the skate park. We went last Sunday to the skate park. Check last Sunday's post where we went to the skate park.

Besides, I didn't expect a man of your wit and intelligence to appreciate the work that has gone into that tractor - even if you are like me and not in to vintage tractors.

I’m not sure whether I’ve been insulted or complimented 🤔

I’ll take it 😃 Cheers pinno.

I spend my summers in the Polish countryside, I’ll take some pics of the vintage tractors on display for you on my next visit.
    Ooo thank you.

I thought they still used horses
Watched a guy cutting his front lawn with a scythe last time. Pretty impressive.

Apparently he only does that for the tourists. Usually he uses a mower.

...and BMW made aeroplane engines, hence the badge - like a rotating prop.
...and we rebuilt and ran the VW Wolfsburg factory up until 1956.
...and SSK (Mercedes) was the SS's number one choice of transport.

But all bollox really, they've always been better at building stuff than us.

Let's look at the cream of the British run around crop:

That one is a particularly fine example.

In response to Oxo's list, I had a 1.8 Marina as my first car. It eventually failed the MOT spectacularly, had at least one failure point in every section of the sheet. I took it down the A3 for a final thrash and blew the engine, then swapped the remains for an equally delapidated Triumph Shitfire.
In a similar vein, got the Mini going yesterday :D

My first car was a mk3 Cortina. You could stand and watch the wings rot.

Watch the Top gear British Leyland challenge, bl00dy funny, especially the bit where they fill them up with water then take them for a lap round the test track.
