Barbie beckons? Does Ken have anything to say about it? Or is he a, ahem, watcher?.
The camera down the willy isn't anything like as bad as it sounds.

Lichfield - home of the Surgeon General, my bits and bobs when I'm on courses. Architecturally fantastic.ballysmate said:Slapped the spf50 kids suncream on my pasty skin and went for 55 miles round trip to Twycross zoo. Not for any reason, just that it's a point on the map.
Lots of bare female flesh on display in Lichfield as I passed through, don't know what was on.
Must be getting old as I didn't stop to have a proper perv.
Mind you, I don't suppose there is any way to disguise your appreciation for the female form when you are wearing lycra shorts, so perhaps just as well I kept going.
Its tri-service, so that will explain the female flesh in the sun..The camera down the willy isn't anything like as bad as it sounds.

That sucks about the car Thistle. Pity that plod/ploddlu rarely catch the barstewards.
Busy day with more sorting and clearing, trips to tip, charity shops and an animal charity to get shot of stuff/give it away. Making a reasonable dent in this stuff now. Will do a bit of eBay & Freecycle as well this week.
Hopefully hear back about our house offer tomorrow after useless estate agents failed to follow up on Saturday."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

10:32am on a bank holiday? Where do you think I was?pinno said:Where tf is everybody?

@nevman ............... Uh?!
I though it was a bank holiday in Engerland.
Having said that I was up fairly early for me on a bank holiday, about 9:30 😁
Prep'd the front door for varnishing, dropped female child at the hospital for a swab test then back to varnish the door. Now have to isolate until Thursday so just chilling in the back garden. Nice and peaceful as neighbours have gone away, loudest noise is sparrows wiping their beaks on the fence. Might clean the barbecue. Experimented with splitting bamboo and gluing it back together yesterday. Seems to have held up ok and means I can make thinner chain stays to maximise tyre clearance.
That's bloody annoying about the cat Thistle, at least they didn't get in. Was there anything in it or just chancers? Sounds like amateurs if they didn't get in."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

Been Cliveden, seen my brother, SiL, niece and nephew and mother there. Lovely weather.
Apart from that, not much. Mrs H³ in a mood for some reason. I've got to the stage where I just say, "what the fcuk is wrong now?". I'm pretty sure if I spent my life being fcuking horrible to everyone in the family for no discernible reason, I would be out on my ear...0 -
Thankfully not, just from when she had her test until the appointment.Stevo_666 said:

She got annoyed today as Twickenham stadium opened vaccination up for any over 18s that haven't had it yet, sods law that it's just after she starts isolating. I guess a sunny bank holiday meant they had spare capacity. Hopefully a good sign and they will do that again.0 -
Used to be Whittington barracks before they spent a shed load of money on it and now, as you say, DMS.MattFalle said:

I passed it today and there was some sort of event going on at the Staffs Regt museum, next door.
Memo to self. Time to have another visit to the museum. Not been for ages.0 -
A successful day. Down to the tip in the morning. Then down the beach for the afternoon. Even managed a good swim in the, despite it still being may.0

Good day here too. All jobs jobbed. Just tidying up following all the work to do. Quite happy with the new living room setup. Summerhouse now much better. Happy days.

mug her off for an afternoon and evening, we'll catch up for some beers and just sit there silently only grunting at each other ehen more beer and/or scratchings are required..The camera down the willy isn't anything like as bad as it sounds.

I think you'll find there is nothing wrong with Mrs H3.
Whenever my Mrs had one on her, I used to ask what the matter was. Not any more.
Her reply was always "There's nothing the matter with me!"

I've worked it out. She wanted my 76 year old mum to come and clear her (Mrs H³'s) shyyte out of the box room where I work. She (my mum) doesn't really want to travel, so I relayed that news.
Literally everything that ever "goes wrong" is someone else's fault or problem, complete lack of self-awareness that she is the common denominator across all these "problems". Her mess, or she wants something doing that she can't be @rsed to do herself. Just deal with it and don't make such a fcuking fuss about it, or don't do it and literally no-one will care, it's a made up problem in your head. No one will die, no one will go hungry or be exposed to danger.

Mec,
for risk of sounding awful and like one of Those Blokes, its the same here.
if its not done TDV's way its wrong and if its not done instantly then there is a sad on.
And then there are the long, drawn out pseudo intellectual discussions about it all, generally with words like "I am processing my feelings" involved..The camera down the willy isn't anything like as bad as it sounds.

Like you say. Scratchings and beer. Or hos and blow. Or smack and crack. Or benzos 'n' booze. Or riding bikes far far away. It's like being in a mood is a substitute for a personality, rather than just taking a breath and being grateful for what you have and just getting on with life without being pretend furious about something that doesn't matter.MattFalle said:Mec,

Oh we've all been there. I don't understand however why she was expecting you mum to clear her stuff up for her?
Definitely with you both in the "must be done her way" thing.
Even when she asks and I don't agree, then she goes with her way. If I even suggest that there's no point answering the question as she'll do it her way anyway, then all hell breaks loose.
Oh and the impatience fucking kills me, even if I'm tied up and in the middle of doing something she'll just about louder.0 -

its all mad. wonderful though she is, TDV just doesn't seem to have an "off" button.
if its not doing something, its researching something or its thinking about something then bloody discussing it ad infinitum then she wonders why she is stressed/knackered..The camera down the willy isn't anything like as bad as it sounds.

sometimes you just have to stop planning/doing/thinking.

Hang in there hop. In a few years time when I’m too old for sex and the little general has shrivelled up I’d happily marry you. I like cycling, nice things, hugs, the odd compliment, good food and I’m not fussed about messy edges on pie dishes.
Tell Mrs hop to fix up as you have options 👍Pinno, מלך אידיוט וחרא מכונאי0 -

I'd have him but on the proviso that he was definitely too old for sex.0 -

Well that's lovely to hear gents. I'm way too old and set in my way for starting to have sex with chaps. I've warned her I have bikes/scratchings/nice things and hugs all lined up.

I honestly don't get why her shyte in your house is anything to do with your Mum?hopkinb said:I've worked it out. She wanted my 76 year old mum to come and clear her (Mrs H³'s) shyyte out of the box room where I work. She (my mum) doesn't really want to travel, so I relayed that news.

I find the direct approach is best as if you pander to this sort of stroppy bollox, it just encourages more of the same."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0
