Remi has 11 sec over Alberto with 11 km and the final bump to come...

Roche bridges to Alberto *impressive nods*

Remi pulling it back out on the flat in between tho.

Worth switching this on actually. RC taking every risk...

Roche not exactly helping Bettiol to close the gap.

Roche not able/unwilling to pull (the former I think, after bridging).

Gap holding at 17s as they start the climb. Chasers can just see the cars behind Remi as they disappear round the next corner

Gap down to 10 as Bettiol drops Roche. AB clearly the better climber, RC grovelling. AB Has to get on RC's wheel by the summit

    7.5 to go.

    Between these 3 (..2)

AB makes the junction just as they go over the top. That climb maybe 500m too long for RC. AB powers past. RC struggling but holding the wheel.

Tables are going to tu....RC explodes!

Absoloute complete implosion. Basically stops. Good on ya Remi, A* for effort

Cavanga's Achilles heel once again: going up hills.

So the sprinters not going all in, is that due to the run in?

    Alberto Bettiol Wins

Roche caught by chasers before the finish.

The spoilers bring on a whole new meaning when you are reading RC as Rick Chasey.

When you see "RC taking every risk" I thought he'd finally decided to venture outside before having his vaccinations!
