That’s a swarthy looking hand MF. You’re not one of those foreign types I hope?
    went posh, didn't I? Edwyn's special.

buggeration. i just realised you meant my hand, not the scratchings. thats what 2 bottles of wine before posting on this forum will do for you.

yup - immigrant me. Italian. its people like me who are going to take your jobs and your women.
My next door neighbour growing up was Italian. You must have known him - Joe Turzo. Nice chap. Made us all spaghetti to try once. All felt very daring given that up until that point my mum had stuck to the classics (fish fingers/sausages/calf liver stewed with bacon to the point of leatheriness)

Yep, I don’t miss my mums liver and bacon or my dad’s burn sausages and lumpy mash.

Am still partial to a bit of liver. Only one in the household though so rarely get it. 😞

    With or without the chianti.

We give liver to the hounds as a treat.

    Interesting.
Used to give the cats Liver about once a month.

Jack is fussy. He asks permission to eat, chases me around the garden, plays hide and seek with you, follows you everywhere, tries to clip your ankles, winds the cows in the field up... If I potter in the garden. he'll watch me for hours. I had to put an old jumper in the engine bay of the old Porker when I had it in bits so he could sit there and study/snooze.

No one told him he is not a dog.

When we took our cat in (or stole it from his previous owner) he would wolf down anything.
Now it is only certain brands of food. And of course cooked prawns and raw rump steak.
He's the only cat we've had though who never begs.

He's not as affectionate as previous cats.
Certainly get the impression that he considers himself independent and views our house as somewhere to eat and sleep and that's all.

Next door's little black kitten has grown up a bit now and isn't interested in me any more.
Even some Aldi chicken isn't good enough for him these days. He's more interested in watching and chasing birds (aren't we all).

Either that or he's been chatting to the other cats who've told him the nasty man will chuck a bucket of water at you if you get caught shitting in the garden.
