No. 3 man break, been away since the start. 2:30 gap with 60km to go, so no real chance.

Sagan attacked up a hill with Oss for the sprint points and a group of 5 of them got clear for a few minutes. Sagan took the 5 points for 4th place.

    Just turned on.

Pretty much everyone on screen in a skinsuit.

That narrow left turn down a hill could catch someone out in the peloton.

Nope, but that's what passes for interesting so far.

    Ortona looked nice.

Rob definitely gets Sean out in a better mood doesn't he?

I was always told that the Severn estuary has the second highest tidal range in the world after somewhere in Australia (it's where I grew up...)

Yeah, he contributes a lot more and its a lot less clipped than when K*rby is on.

I also believe the Severn Estuary to be the second highest but highest is in Canada (there are apparently two locations in Canada where it is just over 16m and the Severn is around 15m)

It is. Got destroyed in the war, they likened it to Stalingrad; house to house fighting, tunnelling, snipers. There are two WW2 cemetries in the area, like a lot of these places, they have a very special, peaceful atmosphere.

Doesn't sound like you'd want to draft Merlier's wheel today.

10km to go and the speed is quite high now - lots more movement in the peloton.

GC and sprint teams all want to be at the front at 1.8km to go.

No doubt it will be rain, storms and no live pictures over the weekend hills and mountains.

This has been like having teeth pulled.

Got my first vaccine dose this lunchtime. Not sure if the feeling of fatigue and lethargy is side effects or just the result of watching this stage...

That was a massive sprint from Ewan! Caught the guy then came round, I thought for sure he had gone way too early

The way you don't like him actually endears him to me ;)

    Ludicrously long distance sprint that.

    Oss is a hero eh?

Hell of a ride from Ewan to take the win!

Sagan getting squeezed into the barriers for once rather than dong the squeezing...

(Hatch not getting these riders right... 😖 )
