All clear on the CT so got sent home again. GP is arranging the 24hr ECG and a referral to a specialist, so we're still in the dark.

Indigestion/Hiatus hernia? Seriously, has made my heart do some weird Sh!t in the past, mostly skipped beats and flutters though. Worse with stress apparently.

Quality of thread titles is worth a mention. Sungod, outstanding as always and Lincolndave doing a great job when called into action.

Hacked off with the car, never buying a diesel again. On the plus side bike fettling seemed to work as the gears were purring gently this morning.

    In other news, cold tootsies.

Hounds walked, kitchen tidied from last nights Ricky special meal and now tea
Rest of day will probably involve paddle board, beach, cider and a sideways sex pond

Layering correctly in the morning is always satisfying. But what to do when it’s 10 degrees warmer on the way home?

Hello peeps. Achieved nothing yet other than putting the bins out. DIY and a run and another EdD interview this afternoon. I’m very glad I’ve found a chrome extension that automatically transcribes these interviews. I need to make corrections but that’s significantly easier than having to type up a 50 minute conversation!

At least Cornwall is the right way up today.

What's with this sooky sooky sook Seano?

Sunshine and a little bit milder. That means... I can feel my feet.
Decided after Sunday's failed arctic ride that ordering some cold weather winter gloves from Lusso would make the weather turn milder.
I think everybody who cycles should buy winter gear now and then there would be a heat wave.

    Morning folks,
A day of wfh here so it's cold but sunny out. Why couldn't the snow have been today rather than yesterday? Busy again, but severely lacking in motivation. Poxy bloody computer system is still fighting, got a Teams meeting at 2 with our IT guy and a developer from the software company. Have to try and be civil.
Might head over to the old dear's after work as big sis has arrived from Italy, can't go in as she has to isolate but will shout at her from the garden.
I guess the support bubble thing we've had going isn't a thing now my sister has arrived, pretty sure I shouldn't be going into the house now according to the rules. Glad she's there as it's a bit of company for the old dear and it means I don't have to worry about her. A little concerned that she suddenly felt the need to come over now the old dear has decided to sell.
    Anyway, coffee...

Cold here, 2 degrees when i first looked this morning, now 10.

I was just about to get changed for a ride when the BT chap called me. Could he come this morning instead of this afternoon? Sure, fine with me, the afternoon clashed anyway because I didn't have my head on straight when I booked that one.

He's just left and now I have 37 mbps of broadband in stead of the 13 that I've had recently.

Fingers crossed now that they agree the fault was with their part of the line and not mine

BT barstewards. Your guy gets there early, whereas i've been waiting for an appointment since January 12th and they've failed to turn up for the appointments on the 24th and 31st March. Next one is booked for 14th April (tomorrow), but i'm not holding my breath.

Quite a 'fresh' ride into the office this morning. Got year end crap signed off and now just have to deal with the barrage of irritating questions from auditors. Or at least one of the minions will.

Am trying to sort days off so me and Mrs. 666 can start sorting through assorted house crap before we even think about house buying/selling, which is good because she has loads of clutter to get through.

    That's not good.

This was Openreach rather than BT, although I don't think there is a lot of difference. He's upgraded my mastersocket and said the wiring should never have been done as it was in the first place. He even took his shoes off!

Afternoon all. First ride on the new steed this morning, very nice just need to tweak bar and saddle position. Got doggo home yesterday evening to our delight - hoping a round of antibiotics and painkillers will sort him out but still waiting on some test results to come back.

Yeah order is through BT, but it's Openreach who are not doing the work and failed to turn up.

Arranged a late site meeting this morning which made an allowance for an extra hour of cycling before work.

Got up to -27 degrees and icefrost, went back to bed for a bit. May cycle after work instead.

Mrs HD is on a fitness kick so a request for a walk to the pub will no doubt fall on deaf ears.

To tell the truth I've not really noticed any drop in performance at the PC and don't use it often for TV, but then it's only been bad for about a week. I have noticed that it would be slower to start pages or videos, which i suppose was buffering.

The biggest problem was that the internet could be lost if someone called on the landline.

You should be ok with that speed. My pair can both use their xbox,s plus the OH will stream stuff and any other add on stuff connected without anyone moaning about lag or buffering.

yeah, yeah, yeah, tgats all great but does it buffer on the money shot?
