    Always use grease with PF BBs ,all suggest it's best practice ,helps with the install and reduces the risk of creaking as PF ,especially ones with Plastic cups are pretty terrible .
    I tend to upgrade BBs to wheels manufacturing ones as their thread together PF design pretty much eliminates creaking all together .Fitted loads and had 0 issues to this point and after fitting it's a servicable bearing where you don't have to remove the cups anymore ,though they still are easy removed if needed ,for an extra £40 in comparison to a shimano pf bb it's a worthwhile upgrade
