    Morning

Today I should eat less cake, but judging by the amount in the kitchen it might be a challenge.

Work stuff should be calmer today, but let’s wait and see.

Finally no builder in the house, so we can put most of the stuff back whilst waiting for the decorator and carpet fitter.

Later may try a run, then cider

Cake will only go to waste, or get eaten by the dogs if it's left lying around.

    Yoga'd
    Tea drunk
    WFH
Something will ruin the morning I'm sure

Up around 5 to walk the dog, disturbed sleep due to 4 month old sleeping in our bedroom. Been working in the office the whole of COVID but a rare day working from home today. Was hoping to get out on the bike at lunchtime to make up for the lost commute but don't really fancy hill climbs on the heavy winter bike...was hoping it would be clear enough for the dry weather bike. We'll see...

I was having similar thoughts on Tuesday, about taking out the steel with phat carbon rims... take a few photos for @MattFalle to sate his appetite for all things non-clubbie.

    Welcome, btw.

    Ciao

been to the gym and just chillin' with some Leftfield in da office with coffee.

Must iron clothes then go and shout at the Po - Po for no real reason at all but we all like shouting at the Po-Po.

    Then more coffee.

Any relation to Vincenzo nibnob? Got a big shark's fin?

Slow start, grey sogged day, do admin stuff, chase up local shop to see if there is any progress on their obtaining a whole new replacement front wheel under warranty instead of just replacing the crackered hub bearings, coz 'don't have the correct tools'. Weird economics.

Slow start may be related to consumption of beers in front of camera and screen last night, good sesh 'n' bantz but.... 'tain't proper socialising is it?

The Po Po are busy tasering people outside. I just wish they would do it quietly.

Busy morning - headed out for a bike ride in a mo. Cider this evening to deal with the calorie deficit as a Cornish Pasty for lunch won't be enough

Visitors arrived yesterday. They leave Saturday, which is almost-but-not-quite-soon-enough. But at least they were out all day amusing themselves, and again tomorrow.

Was going to dismantle small lean-to roof bit off the back of the shed, but wind decided to howl so that job was postponed. Didn't fancy sheets of roofing iron and 50 km/h wind combo bringing on death by decapitation disease.

Ripped out some shrubbery instead, which was a bigger than expected job but all done. Wind still not helping there, but at least the chances of being murderised by stray clippings was not high.

Drank lots of wine before, during and after dinner, mainly to offset the disturbance from having a 4 year old in the house. A bl00dy noisy one.

Someone was waving an axe around and shouting about alleged injustices.

I said we should just mock them and throw books and keyboards at them but the Po Po said I wasn't taking it seriously enough and when I said "look where you are, I think we can handle this, you just have to take him away at the end of it and I'll get someone to clear up the keyboards" got all defensive.
