Quiet here, it's like everyone was on the sauce last night.
Went running early am and as soon as i we t outside it started raining, despite the sky being full of stars. Cleared up after 10 minutes and for the first time in months I didn't see a soul
Washing done, kitchen tidied, might go for a walk next while the sun's out.

Ciao! Bright and dry out there but on Zoom call until 12:30. Plan is then lunch then grab bambino and pedal down to new waffle hut down the valley for some waffle/father/bambino hangin' time.

Does the waffle hut have free WiFi for the zoom meeting?

thats actually a blimmin' good call but i suspect that when i was told "hut" its more likely going to be "falling down shack".

this pain is meant to finish at 12:30 so only a couple of hours left .....

Or was (not was) he walking the dinosaur?

Sun shining. About to get prepped and get out for a hopefully not too grubby ride.

What I learned last night: broadband went down about 9.30. Erse. While iPlayering an episode of Spiral back catalogue. Mmm, Laure. 😊 Live television channels are pure pish on a Saturday, if not always, who knows. And no internet. 😳 Early night was the much better option.

some actual sunshine this morning, at the cafe stop it even felt warm when out of the wind

a casual survey of teslas shows that they are black, dark grey, blue and in one instance metallic bronze-blue, but not white, no such thing as a white tesla

    Sunday. Hmmmm.

Pleased I was not playing any more tennis, because (a) am quite sore enough thank you and (b) it has been blowing a howler all day.

Walked dog, then made progress on shelving I'm building for the TV room. Majority of cutting work done, now the tedious bit of detail finishing...

Turbo ride plus rowing in lieu of a proper pedal somewhere. See "windy" above.

Soggy overnight. Our new lake hasn't got any fish or ducks yet.
I don't know what was coming down last night, I think it was golf balls.

    Like the pic LD.

Here's a slightly better pic than yesterday's effort of Muttley and Gnasher who were persuaded to stop running for a minute by the promise of food:

The new wellies came in handy as it was still pretty muddy out there.

Tea, lunch soon then off down to the pet shop to get some food supplies for M & G.

Ours are squirrel specialists, although cats and pigeons are a popular choice as well.

Theyre both Cockerpoos - great uncle (right) and great nephew (left). Although the one on the left is 3/4 poodle as they bred a Cockerpoo with a poodle to get him. He's nuts.

    Afternoon folks,
Traditional slow start was enjoyed then went for a walk by the river with the EPO. Absolute fucktonne of people heading towards Richmond Park so we went the other way. I was going to go for another walk on my own, but other people getting in my way is just irritating so I might fix a couple of things around the house instead.

  • Went out for a short ride today, was looking forward to it then felt a bit flat whilst out... I was more excited about getting home to clean the damn thing.
Currently wondering what to make for dinner.

Ride: tick. Not too grubby: no tick. Gopping in places, where did all the standing water come from? Did I miss a monsoon downpour? At least with so much water about the post ride clean down was easier. Legs took an hour to start working. Ho hum, winter.

As per H-D, what to conjure pour le diner ce soir? Et aussi plus de Laure.

Good run and a bike ride today 😎 think I can justify the ride as it was back from dropping MILs car off in storage and dropped some food off for her.

    Nearly cider time

Nice pic Step, nice bike too.
Fixed one thing then got off my aris' and went for a walk. Lots of people in the park as expected so I tried to stay off the main routes when possible. Nice view of the city from the Richmond side

Why can't morons leave the deer in peace, they have to try and get as close as possible which ends up disturbing them

DHL's beach walk looks rather more tranquil

They should stick some fake antlers on lions and let them roam round the park.

You get the anti-cull types banging on every year, I reckon having a pack of wolves in the park would eliminate the need for a full and a good proportion of the morons.

You would be surprised, all that room on the beach and still brush your shoulder as they walk past.

Unfortunately moronic behaviour is not restricted to Richmond Park, although it seems to get more of it than other green spaces around here. I think a lot of it stems from the selfish attitude a lot of people have with little or no tolerance of others, seems to give people an incredible sense of entitlement. I just want them to fook off out of my park 🤣

Sorry SG I've mainly seen white ones.

Seen a few Teslas, including red but often seem to be nondescript grey sorts of colours, need to look twice to detect is a Tesla.

What I haven't seen though is CargoBike's Tesla. He seems to have gone v quiet since being asked to pony up.
