nippy but at least temporary relief from the relentless cloud and rain
ride, coffee, wfh, bubbly
may get some extra bubbly in, someone keeps drinking it

Can't decide whether to do the festive 500 indoors or outdoors. Weather's looking nice for today at least.
Have a good day
Obviously insurance doesn’t cover her stupidity and to add insult to injury she abandoned it with the turkey still in the car.
Sitting on the counter top waiting for coffee to chukka chukka chukka through the moka pot.
No change outside here - still hacking.
Lets see where we head with today shall we.....

No work today! Wrapping and assembling presents today. Wife's on the phone now, think something is up with the MiL with the COVID. Think she's gone to hospital...

It has stopped raining here! Gotta get movin' early, brisk walk to the gym, last sesh before it T4 closes. Then quite a bit of gear and bike cleaning after yesterday's adventures.
No rain or wind to speak of, but still sh*tty under wheel.
Just taken delivery of copious amounts of bike chains, GT85, brake pads, Scwalbe Marathon Plus tyres and other assortments ready for CB's annual mid-winter bike servicing shenanigans over the weekend.
Staff Xmas bonuses paid, along with charitable donations to a couple of causes close to CB's heart.
Feeling quite virtuous.
Delivering until 4pm, then officially done for another year, yeah rightto!!
So, so much to catch up on over the next few days, but sometimes a change is as good as a rest
In other news, that weird yellowy blob in the sky is causing carnage. So low and blinding yet the tw*ts in their cars keep on driving around oblivious to anyone else on the road. Already had a member of staff knocked off this morning. Not what you need on Xmas Eve.
As per the above - hope all good with the MiL.
Set alight to it > claim insurance > Turkey gets cooked.
Ta da.
Good Moaning,
No work, but the weather forecast is censored and there are tons of cars about (where's the fire?). In T3 but I think I’d prefer a proper lockdown. Anyway I recon the rollers are the best bet today, safer at least
Have a good Christmas eve

The daft old bat (though I don't mean her any harm), my OH's grandmother (83) had a stroke yesterday. ...and that was the only news we had for 6 hours.
Transpires it was minor. We were deliberating that she may need to go 75 miles down the road to the specialist unit and if she would get a vaccine on admission etc...
Bit of a relief that she has been sent home on medication.
Her daughter is spending the next few days with her in a bubble, so at least she'll have company tomorrow as we were not planning to visit.
In other news, the weather has put pedalling plans out the window.
Talking of plans @tlw1 : my OH says 'Ham sandwich?'

wfw, but not for much longer then I'm done until the 4th.
Good luck with the MiL Elobow, worrying if you can't even find out what is happening at the moment. Hope your oppo is alright CB, try to keep it rubber side down people.
TLW, on the bright side if someone has smashed it that should make a write off a no brainer, water damage is horrible and you wouldn't want it back after a repair.
Was hoping to do some wrapping last night but wound up playing the part of peace keeper and then went for a long walk with the lad so he could vent in safety.
Have a good one people

Disaster! I don’t have anything civilised and afternoony to drink! 😫 My stock is all too hardcore for 11:30 😔
@elbowloh Hope the news is good when it turns up!
@tlw1 Is there a pre-nup, and who ends up better off from it?
Finished mowing paddock this morning first up. Sodding rabbits have made a right mess up near water tanks, so that was an extra job to fill in the diggings... Then fired up the brush cutter demolition tool for an hour of weed and scrub genocide.
Back on the tools after lunch to build new shelving in the shed, took a little longer than expected, but looking good. That's only first half of it though, so Boxing Day jobs list looks full already to finish it.
No wrapping or other stuff to worry about here - we're not "doing" the gifts thing this year. Lunch tomorrow at friends place, so all that's required is turn up, eat, drink and be merry. I've agreed to make a green apple sorbet (avec secret ingredient) which should be easy enough.
Unfortunately over £6k of cargobike has been written off.
[email protected] of a car driver is claiming cyclist was in the wrong and cargobikes shouldn't even be on the road.
Good god, there's idiots everywhere
