And that would be a lie. One helluva hilly ride. I could have chosen many other routes but I was determined to get a tail wind home and that pesky wind has been an a West by south westerly direction for a week. Didn't give me many options and meant the last 4 miles home was cross/head wind and an uphill final 400 metres.darkhairedlord said:

I'm afraid mine doesn’t do that. When RidewithGPS is running, wake goes to the main of RidewithGPS start/tracking screen, it’s that screen that had the camera icon.thistle_(mbnw) said:
On my phones (work and personal) I press the munu button twice and the phone wakes up and goes into camera mode.Charlie_Croker said:
I’m a bit miffed though, I use the RidewithGPS app on my phone to record my rides. It has or rather HAD a little camera icon on the main page which enabled you to take a quick picture of whatever without any more faffing about than taking your phone out, opening it and tapping the camera icon – take picture, done.
Press the volume key (or the on screen button) to take the picture, then press the power button to go back into standby.
I assumed it was standard on all android phones, but I think some of them don't have physical buttons any more.
But thanks
I’m sure there’s a quicker way to get to the camera function, probably have to alter the swipe settings or something similar. I’ll have to figure it out. If not there’s always Strava Heaven forbid!
