We couldn't - our love was unrequited.

MF wrote a letter but due to his plaster dealer's handwiting no one could read it. He's the most illegible bachelor in town.

  • It's like going for a kickabout down the park - if you're wearing your favourite club shirt fair enough, if you have a favourite. If you're also wearing the matching shorts and socks, you probably look a bit of a tit.

I remember having the full white Leeds kit, including the sock player number tab.
    I was young though.

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Kids are fine wearing anything. Full Spiderman outfit is fine on a kid walking around town. Bit weird on an adult.

Is there any difference between wearing pro team kit and clubbie kit though?

I suppose if you're a member of a club, and you wear that on club rides and in races, that's what you own, so you wear that.

If you're in full cofidis team kit, that's a fashion choice.

By that rationale fat old man Lemond can go out in full Z kit.
    Doesn't make it right. 😉

If said wearer has to ask the question, they aren't happy in it, therefore will not enjoy the ride as much. If they are perfectly comfortable in it, then they should get out and enjoy it. Why should they care what tw4ts like me think?

I have a (currently very) aero jersey with Garmin team all over it that I bought because it was cheap. I then bought a non team version because I like it but I'm one of those people who isn't so comfortable with myself.

But what if they don’t care but when people like in the above examples give them hassle then it’s going to ruin their day, yah?

Why do clubbies have this issue as has been detailed numerous times above?
