essentially, the backstory is that there may be a chance of me getting a new posting on tour doing some very cool stuff with very cool people - all in the pipeline though, so v v excited but not holding breath if you know what I mean.

May well mean going somewhere where I'll get a suntan but at least I'll be warm.

the salon is just a cover story in case the Russians are watching.
