    Ah see - the poll was what is your favourite tree, not 'what tree are you putting up?'.

    So as long as you keep it topped up, it won't drop its foliage? At least until you put it out for recycling post epiphany?

    Itโ€™ll soon be time to get the Christmas tree up, about another week or so I reckon.

    I was looking for something on catch-up (TV) last night, when I came across the first episode of Coronation Street, It had been re-broadcast because it was the anniversary I believe. Out of curiosity I had a watch (sad I know). Apart from the price of beer the other thing I noticed, bearing in mind this was first shown on the 9th December 1960, was there wasnโ€™t a Christmas decoration in sight, not one. Just as it should be. Thereโ€™s a time and placeโ€ฆ

    The tree has been in the living room since Sunday, but we (I) only decorated it last night. And the lights only went in this morning as they're battery operated and they were charging overnight.

    it may go up and be decorated tomorrow
    is it still too early I'm wondering?

    Edit: Its now up and decorated, all done! - and its not coming down till after Kings Day
