Hi all,
After a bit of advice on trying to improve my overall cycle fitness
Would I be better finding my ideal HR and using that as my training zone or trying to keep to a certain cadence throughout each ride

If you were to ride at 90 revs through out your ride. It might be of training benefit going up a 10% hill but not of that much benefit coming down a 10% hill. Unless you have a 60 tooth chainring up front.1

Power, but it's more expensive.
Cadence is a waste of time... you have your own, I have my own and neither is better than the other.
Heart rate is mostly a precautionary thing, as training tool is not very usefulleft the forum March 20231
