Faulty bike light

Hi all
I have a Hope R4 light setup on both front and rear. The front has developed intermittent fault sometimes it works some time doesn't, either pulses like it's flattened the battery, just flashes or currently not turning on at all. I will contact Hope however my wife who gifted it me, seems to think it's older (around 2013) then what I recall.
Depending on what Hope say/offer I can't decide whether to buy a new replacement front lamp or go for something different, which would probably mean ditching the rear too as I wouldn't want run external battery pack just for rear (currently have y cable one battery for both) possibly dynamo hub light setup. I only have the one do it all bike which is a Mason Bokeh.
Any thoughts ideas welcome

Hope's after sales service is superb. Give them a call and I'm sure they'll be able to help.
There's another recent thread on dyno hubs/lights with one battery with a few set up options which may be of use
