Can someone please grab a screenshot of Obelix at 51.4km to go?

Christ, imagine getting up looking at this stage after yesterday's monster.
Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.

Bit of a shame Hirschi crashed, that was looking like a tasty day up front. Don't think Bilbao is going to upset such a perfect apple cart until the last few Kms...

Yep. He would have been flying by the Giro.
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

Could be a bit tricky as they are at 45kms to go.

    KOM Situation

    66 Pogacar
    63 Roglic
    54 Carapaz
    52 Hirschi

20 points for the first over the HC

8 points for 5th, so some of the chasse patate lot need to stay ahead of The Pog.
I hope it doesn't come down to the TT and is decided by being quick over the first flat 30km
    Yes, cos it's a 10 pointer.

I think if Carapaz wins the next climb and Pogacar doesn't score, then Pogacar will have to be fastest to the top on the TT - Carapaz will have better countback on HC wins - 2 v 1

  • Not sure how up to date it is - - but I quite like the race summary from the official TDF website

    https://racecenter.letour.fr/en/

Good recap of the race postion

    It's very good, isn't it?

But if he takes the KOM points and Kwiato & Carapaz get back to him on the descent, they'll just sit on his wheel to the finish as revenge. Better to sit on, let them have the KOM and attack that last smaller climb.

Is it not a bit concerning for the country that people cannot be expected to "go sober for October"..?

    1 month?!?!

And I'm supposed to give them money??

Wish the TV coverage would show the front of the race. I've only seen the front group for about 5 seconds since I've finally been able to watch (got builders in and they had to turn the power off).

Moto cam 1 followed the crash and was stuck behind Hirschi.

For all the talk about Ineos not picking Thomas, he wouldn't have saved their Tour like this.

Would like to Kwia take the stage after all the work he has done for others in this race over the years.

So, was Carapaz riding into form or just not really ar$ed about supporting Bernal?

    Eh?
They haven't saved anything yet. They may not even get to borrow the jersey today.

Thomas couldn't maybe have won a stage?
If only you had half as much faith in him as you do in Froome.
