Sorry, but in my view he did a shoulder check and it was clear.
    Higuita then swung out.

Where was he actually looking though? Much further back imo.
    The Sporza boys weren't impressed.
    Accident in my view.
May as well ask why did Higuita pull out? Unfortunate consequences though.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Commentators saying he badly damaged his fingers...would explain why he crashed again riding solo

If so probably better to yank him out before he got back to the peloton. The descents later wouldn't have been any fun either.

Vaughters confirming that he had broken fingers or a broken hand and totally unable to brake. Looks to be left hand which makes sense
  • Still well ahead of the fastest schedule.

  • Harsh on Jungles above. He clearly checks behind before swinging off (a bit drastically tbh) and doesn't see in the meantime Higuita has swung off behind him. Not sure why Higuita is swinging off from 2nd position, but he was inattentive and put himself in a dodgy position.
Warning No formatter is installed for the format
  • Jungels completely wipes out Higuita and doesn't even offer an apology.

That would be why he's trending on Twitter then

Lefèvre is presumably going to sue his own rider now...

  • Porte joking about a masters category for older riders. Reckon that might actually be quite an interesting jersey competition.

  • A tricky one that, they both looked back to check. It's just a case of sh1t happens. Hindsight and all that.
  • Looks hot out there vs prior days. May change the relative strength of the GC contenders

At least it's sunny and out in the open, better to enjoy it all know before the autumn/winter.

I want to see Landa show his rock solid climbing style today.
