Welcome to the PTP thread for the 55th edition of Tirreno-Adriatico. It's the one we've all been waiting for and it will surely soon overshadow the little race going on over in France. Good luck with your picks and trying to maintain your relationships whilst watching both events.
We start in Lido di Camaoire again but this time with a road stage and ends with a 10km ITT in San Benedetto del Tronto . The offical website confirms that the route contains eight stages for all tastes.
Provisional startlist can be found here: https://www.procyclingstats.com/race/tirreno-adriatico/2020/gc/startlist
At the moment, the big names down to race include Fuglsang, Simon Yates, Froome, Geraint Thomas, Nibali, Gaviria and MVDP.
List of recent winners:
2019 ROGLIČ Primož
2018 KWIATKOWSKI Michał
2017 QUINTANA Nairo
2016 VAN AVERMAET Greg
2015 QUINTANA Nairo
2014 CONTADOR Alberto
2013 NIBALI Vincenzo
2012 NIBALI Vincenzo
2011 EVANS Cadel
2010 GARZELLI Stefano
The official website has stage profiles and a bit of a write-up on the parcours here: https://www.tirrenoadriatico.it/en/percorso/
Usual rules apply, get your picks in before the race starts every day etc and I will update the scores every night of the race.

Despite a nasty crash in the last 3km, plenty of PTP points were scored today. Pascal Ackermann somehow managed to come along the barrier to pip Fernando Gaviria on the line.
