    Poor Rick...

Drive to Survive has turned me into exactly the sort of plastic fan who repeats what ever the token journalist says, never watches the actual races and chooses who to support by how pwetty the car looks.

    He's going to HATE this!

Things seem to have been a bit boring there this season though. UAE seems to be the place for potential in-fighting going forwards from looking at the Vuelta.

Not far from the truth. Clearly as cycling has got more popular, the quality of analysis from the average cycling fan has taken quite the plunge and isn't that far off football now, which is extra cringeworthy.

Half of them sound like Carlton, it's painful.

Will still be plenty of enjoyable backstabbing to watch. I think series 3 is 2021.

This covers the 2021 Vuelta, which was peak Movistar in terms of infighting.

Conspiracy theory - Did Netflix film UAE for 2022?
Certainly seemed to take the Moviestar playbook.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

I have to say, as I never watch the Vuelta, I do seem to miss a lot of the infighting. Maybe it's just a Vuelta thing.

Did you not see the Pogacar one man show in the Tour?

Not really sure about that. They should send their strongest team including Ayuso, Almeida, Mcnulty to the Tour if JV go with everyone as well. I think they were a little complacent since Pogacar managed pretty much on his own the prior two years. Mejka did well at times despite Covid (one bad stage, one good one). Was his chain failure that made him abandon ultimately.

I think they were one of the few teams not to allow access

Only four episodes this time, but it's a corking series. A lot of focus on the Vuelta, understandably, and much less on the Tour (Verona's crash and Eviti's day in the break is about your lot) and the Giro.

I enjoyed it a lot. I think I have more respect for both the team and Superman Lopez after it, which, considering the events that are covered, shows how well the Netflix production team edited all the footage.

It’s the best Superman drama since Christopher Reeve
