Ghetto tubeless?

Has anyone tried going ghetto (simi) tubeless with Zipp carbon wheels. I am thinking about trying it with a Conti GP5000 TL and my Zipp Firecrest 202s (non tubeless) wheels.

    Why?

It'l be a pain to get the tyres seated and if you get a puncture that doesn't seal then the tyre will probably unseat itself which could get pretty dangerous if you're still moving.

I'm a fan of road tubeless but it's not that much better than clinchers and tubes.

I don't mind doing a ghetto fix on a mtb as relatively low speeds, I sure as hell wouldn't be doing it on my road bike at higher speeds. I run a proper tubeless setup on all my road bikes and ghetto fix on my CX bike, my CX bike gets used only off road so lower speeds. Just imagine a flat at thirty plus MPH going down hill, that should be enough to stop you going road ghetto.

Normally gaffer tape covering the spokes and just sticking a valve core in and filling with sealant another I've seen involves split innnertube.
