Ghetto tubeless?

Has anyone tried going ghetto (simi) tubeless with Zipp carbon wheels. I am thinking about trying it with a Conti GP5000 TL and my Zipp Firecrest 202s (non tubeless) wheels.

    Why?

    It'l be a pain to get the tyres seated and if you get a puncture that doesn't seal then the tyre will probably unseat itself which could get pretty dangerous if you're still moving.

    I'm a fan of road tubeless but it's not that much better than clinchers and tubes.
