Rather worryingly - corona in Oise area - where PR starts I think?

"A dozen cases are centred in the Oise area of northern France, which has emerged as one of the most significant clusters" Peter Beaumont, Guardian this morning

Well I think it's all still going ahead and the weather forecast could not be more 'omloop het nieuwsblad'

11 degrees, raining, heavy west/southwest winds.

If anyone needs more there's the women's race:

I'm going to put a couple of quid on Omloop and KBK being pretty much all we get this season. This is going to be a pub quiz question in a decade or so: "who won most WT races in 2020".

My bet is everything will be back to normal by the Dauphine (at least in Europe)

Yup, it's once again time for the biggest little Northern classic of them all: Le Samyn.

Eurosport have live coverage tomorrow, of both the men's and women's race, starting at 1pm with the ladies.

A nice little 10 minutes highlights show from last year with Rob Hatch.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQhladOl6v8

And the final 10 kms of the epic 2017 edition.

Some of the cobbles look pretty damp and greasy in the women's race. Chantal Blaak has 10 km and a couple of minutes

    Blaak takes the women's edition.
70km to go for the men, spots of rain, lots of short attacks but nothing really sticking

Splitting into groups with relentless attacks and the rain making those cobbles even slicker.

I see her name is now van der Broek-Blaak. Can I copyright the headline 'Broeck-Blaak Mountain' in case she ever wins going uphill

For once DQS not going to be able to sit on and control this one.
Only Senechal and Ballerini in the front group.

Yes, they appear to have left their quick guy behind, with Nizzolo, Coquard and Venturini out front.

What are you saying exactly? All Hugo's are Nazi's? It's a weird coincidence? It's ironic in the Alanis Morissette way?

I'm sure there'd be a team willing to take that handicap for the short term publicity. QS did for at least 3 seasons :*

    You what?

    It's the front page headline.

It seems that Nokere Koerse will benefit from the current instability. 11 WT teams have signed up already, bringing the total to 22 teams.
Sunday's GP Monsere plans a late additions of 3 WT teams.

However, the 7 new cases in Wevelgem may send them scuttling home again.

Until people stop bothering with quarantining and isolating I can't see any pro bike race going ahead tbh.
