afaik the start of 'space' isn't yet globally legally defined, but generally taken as not far at all (future treaty may plump for somewhere 100-200km), way closer to the uk than ws

london is closer to space than to birmingham, probably explains a lot :D

Alright smarty-pants :) given WS lives almost on the other side of the globe, if he goes up into space he ends up further away from us than he is now. And don't give me any crap about non-geostationary orbits.

Did anyone mention it when you were in Italy?

Not a sausage, and I was speaking to one of the ladies who lives nearby to find out where to dispose of a washing machine (did someone say holiday?) so the conversation was fairly boring regarding rubbish tips and Codice fiscale etc so not your average "hows your holiday going" chat.

Is that why we sent the convicts there?

whenever I mentioned it people laughed and pointed at us like we were Leaver idiots, which we were at immediate maximum to explain the we weren't.

They can't believe the Brits are shooting themselves in the foot so badly and, yes, do have utter contempt and ridicule for the members of parliament.

Seems about right, they would of been given the choice of death by hanging, or a long perilous boat journey to a country which will do its utmost to try and kill you in various painful ways.
From Murderous Magpies and Kicking Kangaroo's through to stinging snails and snapping sharks

In more dull news picked up some very plush and squishy Deda Presa tape which nicely matches the rest of the finishing kit (bar the saddle). They only had the Lizard skins in silly colours.

I had to fix a shower in Verona so I sympathise.
As well as a couple of friends asking I had the conversation with a barman, he was less than complimentary about Salvini and commenting on how many people seem to forget the League is the Northern League and wanted to separate from the South.

But there's a massive gap in Vending machine legislation and control.
