How much would have you paid?
I used to have a gold ultra burner with araya rims, would be worth a few quid now I bet.
deffo not £600 and then VAT, postage, etc.

Seems strange that a reproduction would be sold for more than an original, maybe appeals only to the hardcore collectors.
I sold it early 90s to get a GT Performer with 48 spoke wheels and a gyro

i think its the same as when they released the new Choppers a few years ago - people had them when they were young, sold/crashed them, now have some disposable and a mid life crisis, buy another thinking they are cool not realising they are actually shhhit and they look like a nkob riding it.
