Nice long walk with the hound and now off for a hybrid commute, which is nice
  • Morning. Nice morning here although rumours of a few light showers later which will be a shock to the system as not rained for weeks amazingly. Plan is to rub down and stain hardwood windows outside, bit of a chore but pleasant enough when the weather is good.

Tired. On train into work, fair bit to do including buying an anniversary present for Strifey who isn't in the best of moods at rhe moment.

    Morning
Gentle pedal to the office this morning. Still suffering from the effects of an allergy to something yesterday afternoon, possibly an allergy to running.

Hopefully it doesn't go into theoretical multiverse access.

Still fuzzy headed so walking to work as we speak/type/read though if your reading this aloud your weird.
Later shall be doing some paving which should be fun, some old flag stolen slabs about 70kg a pop, got 12 to lay. Urgh

I think unless you're actually going to somewhere in MK you won't see anything if you're passing through, which is probably the point.

You're going to work out how much it will cost for a chrome plated frame?

I feel liberated today. Sister is away. Gone. She looked haggard. Strange atmosphere. Like she and hubby had a huge domestic or something.
It would be great if they split. I can put up with hubby and her progeny are up for a laugh/Guinness/sillyness.

    Frikkin raining here.

    Laters.

Tis where I reside, well ish the village of Little Brickhill which appears to be next on the rampaging sprawls list to be consumed.

Camden, only been there once, it was an acid house party in the disused round house.

Clearly far better already than MK. Thankfully though your on the outskirts you can either dart off to the M1 or head my way to the A5 an escape that way

Yeah, by bike isnt too bad theres a decent network of redways (the red tarmac with the yellow bollards at every junction) but its a shared route so mainly full of zombies, druggies kids and gypsies.

I wouldn't normally comment, actually yes I would but the poor use of you are, 'you're' and 'your' today has been endemic in these parts.

Another day of not much. Took some priceless antique heirlooms (ok, old and not so old bone china tea sets and things) to the local charity shop. Lunch out. Tidied up a small corner of the shed. Moved bikes around a bit, mainly to stop the tyres sticking to the concrete floor.

Surely going to live in Scotland and moaning about the weather is a bit like moving next to Heathrow airport and moaning about airplane noise?

    Afternoon folks,
I went to a house party in Camden a very long time ago. Spent all night trying it on with this girl to no avail, over breakfast she told me if I drove her home to Oxfordshire I could shag her silly. I told her I was exhausted from trying all night and thought she'd probably change her mind when we got there so she'd have to take the train. I was probably right, but thirty something years have improved her looks and I still wonder if I should have driven her.
Another busy day here, pad thai for lunch was good. Still hungry though.
I've been to MK, didn't try it on with any girls. Have no desire to go back.
  • Ha, forget it mate. She was winding you up and undoubtedly would have jumped out of car once there and legged it into house.

That's what I thought at the time, I still had a lot of fun up to that point though. Didn't quite get home but had fun at all the other bases whilst trying.

You could have called her bluff and said that you would drive her there but you weren't interested in the proposition.

Sat here wondering if I should reply to my own post (which was the last one until Oxo this morning).

Beats talking to yourself I suppose.

I was busy on getting a pressie for our wedding anniversary and then on hound detail when I got home.
