Its slammed, I'm already at the forward limit for the saddle. Longer stem will be bought, I knew I needed that.

    #shortlegs.

What about silly socks for my shoes? Shaving the legs?

The winners of this event are pretty damned quick.

 I was going to ask why wear a suit that replicates skin when you have skin, just bodypaint a number on. But not if you're all coming to mine.
Everybody should drive classic cars, would make me more money. We had an Accord estate, but the early 2 door one. 1989 I think. We had the injected one, got over 130 out of it at one point. Great car. Had a Passat estate, pile of poo. A4 estate, even worse.
Better than muffins at mine is the pub down the road.

Amusing bracket evening for a novice 45 year okd tt'er. Mrs H3 will hate the leg shaving, but will have to put up with it. But a skin suit and silly socks will be just the ticket. I'll keep you updated with "training" and how the event goes. It'll be a laugh. If I can get close to 40 kph on a course with 2 long draggy rises and 5 roundabouts, one of which is a full 180⁰ turn, and no drag from passing cars, I'll be delighted.

    360 degree?
Watch out for n00bs if there's stuff like that, the guy in front of me this evening nearly got run over *twice* turning right on the roundabouts because he didn't look before swerving into the overtaking lane as there were cars passing him.

Just did the TT route in ~36 kph. Plenty of room for improvement once you remove the cars, I do a bit of training, take all the shyte out of my pockets and I work out the pacing. I had plenty left at the end. Plus the veet and goggles.

    #naked

Skinsuit and pointy hat will get you up to 40.
    #aero
    #slippy
I'm in the road bike category. I can do the suit, not the hat. Limited to 50mm wheels, which I have.

Thats me out, mine are 66mm deep, slippy lid though some jazzy socks an ill veet the front of my legs.

Hoppy, get the bike, get etap, dont get spacers be cool

I dont have a skin suit but OI can just shrink wrap myself in a TT position.

All this leg shaving malarky for blokes (unless there are mahoosive prizes for winning) makes me laugh but I've never heard the hygiene justification before - do you get sweaty legs or something? :)
